This isn’t a tour. It’s not a package. It’s a real day in our wild coastal world — hauling in cray pots, diving for pāua and kina, and feasting on kai you helped gather. Set on one of the most untouched stretches of coastline in Aotearoa, Serving Up Tora is a private, hands-on experience of fishing, fire-cooked food, and the kind of nature that still feels raw and rare.
Come out on Takitimu, our boat, and chase the tides with us.
Drop cray pots. Pull in deep-sea fish. Dive for pāua or kina. Salt spray on your face, dolphins at the bow, and seabirds watching it all unfold — every day out here is different.
Once the catch is in, we’ll gather back at our oceanfront slice of paradise and let the feast unfold. Crayfish grilled over coals. Pāua served fresh. Kina, sashimi, maybe octopus. Whatever Tangaroa provides becomes a series of vibrant, seasonal plates — shared long-table style, and paired with great wine, good yarns, and Pacific Ocean views.

Tora, on the remote Wairarapa coast — 45 minutes from Martinborough, 2 hours from Wellington.
