Tora Collective is a small, hands-on fishing business based on the wild Tora Coast in South Wairarapa. We harvest to order, meaning we only catch what has been ordered and confirmed for the week ahead.
Our catch is landed, packed and sent from the coast the same day its harvested, arriving with customers the following day, as fresh as it gets!

HOW IT WORKS
1. Apply for a trade account
Complete the trade account application form here. Once reviewed and approved, we’ll send through pricing, ordering information and next steps.
2. Receive the weekly fishing plan
Every Friday, we send our trade customers a fishing plan for the week ahead. This includes upcoming catch days, delivery windows and product availability.
3. Order through HospoConnect
All trade orders are placed through HospoConnect. Once your trade account is approved, we’ll help get you set up if you’re not already using the platform.
4. We harvest to order
We head out and harvest what has been ordered, working around the weather, ocean conditions and seasonal availability.
5. Packed on the coast, delivered overnight
Your kaimoana is landed, weighed, packed by hand at our Tora packhouse and sent by overnight courier.
PRODUCTS & SEASONS
CRAYFISH / KŌURA
Season: October 20 – March 31 & May 27 – July 17
Wild crayfish harvested from the Tora Coast. Available in different size grades depending on catch and season.
PĀUA
Season: October 1 – July 17
Fresh blackfoot pāua, hand harvested and supplied whole.
KINA
Season: October 1 – December 31
Whole kina, available seasonally and subject to catch conditions.
MINIMUM ORDER
Minimum trade order is 3kg total across all species.
You can mix species within the same order, depending on availability.
DELIVERY
We courier trade orders across New Zealand where overnight delivery is available.
Urban delivery addresses are strongly preferred.
Rural delivery can take longer than overnight and carries a higher risk with live and perishable seafood. If your address is rural, we strongly recommend using your nearest NZ Couriers depot or collection point.
Delivery dates are always subject to weather, catch conditions and courier movement. We do our best to meet the delivery windows listed in the weekly fishing plan, but catch and delivery days may shift.
